Domain moved successfully
Yay! My old provider went out of business, and I had to move my domain. This seems to have been successfull, at least the mail works again. And soon I'll upload the first, real pages.
Another work load
Just when I thought I could finally concentrate on my book, I got a call from a teacher, telling me that my presentation had been moved forward (without consulting with me) and will be due next tuesday. I quit that class but promised to do the presentation anyway. I have to learn to say no.
Trouble is, I will be away over the weekend - and thursday is also filled. So - I have tomorrow and monday evening to get it done, because there is also my office work. Hardly any literature at the Uni library, either. I hate this.
At least there is a bit on the net, and hopefully I'll get my laptop tomorrow. A few MPEG clips would go far, and the rest is improvising.

Abortion debate
The runboard main chat is turning into a support place for personal problems, it seems. Recently someone started a discussion about abortion with the words "I believe it is murder." What an idiotic thing to do. They only looked for people supporting their postition. Probably some immature person completely brainwashed by some radical Christian community.
After some deliberation I decided not to join, even though I was very angry. I would have only yelled at all those people who, in their blinded self-rightiousness, forget to be compassionate enough to even try to understand those women who decided they cannot continue their pregnancy. Most women don't make that decision lightly, and it can be a dangerous thing for them. But it is no use trying to explain that to a person like that. Talk about fundamentalism...
Oh, well.

Three entries already
There are three entries already for the Challenge. That's good, because three is a number one can take a vote on. Yay! More would be better, though, but there is more than a week to go yet.
And I'm finally going to see The Return of the King tonight! Double Yay!
