Culture Themes (a modest poll)

We have a Celtic and a Roman skin which I call "cultural themes". I think it would be cool to expand this collection to include other cultures/time periods but would like some help in deciding which culture/time period to do next.

Ideas running around in my head include:

1. The Three Musketeers
2. Pirates
3. Medieval Times
4. Sherlock Holmes
5. The Roaring Twenties

Please help me decide which one to do next by voting in the poll or feel free to suggest other cultures you would like to see...

You can make up to 4 choices before you vote

Voted for 3.
Not very sure about the 20's but could be something quite good.

Hi Erika emoticon

The roaring twenties idea is like with Al Capone, speakeasies and gangsters with tommy guns (a totally American thing).

Thanks for voting and please feel free to make suggestions... those in the poll were just the first ones that popped into my head emoticon

What about pop Legens like Elvis, Bob Marley.
Or others like Marilyn Monroe.
Or Countries.
Like USA, Spain etc

You mean like Hollywood, Nashville, or New York cultures skins?

Or maybe Aztec, Mayan or Conquistadors?

I think a fantasy, Native American or film would be great. The Aztec, Mayan or Conquistadors would make some very cool skins.

I feel the more generic you make the theme the more people will be able to apply it to their own ideas. I would be concerned that a specific theme like Sherlock Holmes or The Three Musketeers would limit their application to a limited range of boards.

I love anything Fantasy, Celtic or Midevil so you know what I voted for. Of course the 3 Musketeers would be cool too.

I put down The Three Musketeers but was thinking swashbuckling when I put it down. The last age of chivalry and monarchy in France but with rapiers and maybe the old flintlock pistols and horses and chariots... My trouble is that that runs right into the pirates idea and I couldn't think of another name to call it.

The Sherlock Holmes idea is late 19th century mysteries in the Victorian Era but again I couldn't think of another name to call it that sets the stage (so to speak).

Oh, Native Americans... like the Hiawatha setting or like the Sitting Bull setting?

Fantasy... like different mythos or like D&D?

(I feel creative ideas flowing again) emoticon

Maybe the Sherlock Holmes skin could be used by boards with a murder mystery theme, I've seen some out there already that would 'fit the bill'.

Roaring 20's is a good idea, Al Capone and stuff related stuff to that era, that'll be cool

Native American theme I like, have loads of pics for that theme saved, especially some in Hi-Def too
